Today’s morning was spent exploring the Nitobe Gardens. Such a beautiful garden to relax in. Being in such a setting allowed us to reflect upon the question - what is a garden? I think a garden can come in many different forms and function in different way. I think ultimately gardens are a representation of life. Even in gardens that aren’t necessarily composed of organisms (such as rock gardens), being in such places allows us to connect with the earth. Further, we can see organisms finding their ways to a garden, as if being called to it.
