Morning School Visit
Today, we visited the Norma Rose Point School! We had the chance to explore the inner and outer area of the school’s rain garden.
There were many different types of plants in different shapes, sizes, colours, and characteristics. Examining the diverse species living in the space helped us think about what to plan for next week's land-based activities when we bring the students out. Here are some of the particular species that we have noted:
Fireweeds
Thimbleberries
Fern
Work Party
In the afternoon, we did some more weeding and clearing of the garden beds to make room for our planting tomorrow. Good work today everyone! :)
